+1 I really didn't know much about him. But since the draft I've been watching these interviews and videos - and watching YouTube games. I am beginning to get very excited about us drafting him. And I absolutely love how Pace has arranged it so that he doesn't have to start right away. Even if Glennon struggles this year, I hope they don't push Trubisky into starting before he is ready.
Fans will be upset, and say you don't let the #2 pick of the draft ride the pine. But I am 100% wanting to bring this guy along at his own pace. We've blown it with our QBs for decades here. Let's do this guy justice and develop him properly. Look to a long-term success with him.

I think everyone on here knows how upset I was about how Pace drafted Trubisky, but like JAB said I have read about why Pace did what he did the I understand why he was willing to give up so much to get Trubisky (just wish his name was like Jones or Smith, his name to hard for this old guy to spell). Trubisky seem to have his head on right, and is willing to do what ever it talks to be a great NFL QB. I just hope this all translates to great performance on to fieldLike Cutler said the other day, don't rush the kid. And if Glennon is messing up, don't replace Glennon with Trubisky, until he is ready.

I really hope that he does not take the field until next year at the earliest and even then, if they think he needs more time, give it to him. I do not think under any circumstances he will need more than 2 years. I am thinking one should do it.

I think what happened in the past is that the QB's (like Cade), is that they were rushed. I think they learned the lesson and they will take time with Mitch.

So do I. You are right, it would be good for him to play in the preseason... I don't want him to play if unless Glennon and Sanchez get hurt during the season.

To be really honest, I hope he doesn't even play then, but not sure we can carry another QB like Shaw so he may have to. I don;t think Shaw would last on the PS very long. It will be interesting to see what happens. Hopefully Glennon does not get hurt. Playing Sanchez would be a train wreck.
