Well here is a little gem that will be interesting to watch throughout the year. Not sure if it has been mentioned but it seems Trubisky is Pace's brainchild and gamble and has been all along. This really jibes that Fox and Pace may have separate agendas and Fox may not be part of the long term picture after this year. One can hope.
I can say that I was one of the people that thought that Fox was leading Pace. A story of the old sly guy kind of leading the young guy down the path. If this was the case, then I have to say that Pace is his own guy and in fact, the bond between them may not be as strong as I thought. I hope that is the case. I hope Pace goes his own way with HC next year.
I never did and never will. Pace is way too smart for that, he knows its his ass on the line (too)

meh.... that stuff has never bothered me. I have absolutely zero issue admitting I was wrong. I have to do it a lot and am very comfortable with it.

In fact, you are usually uncomfortable admitting that you were right.
That's interesting..... Most people don't notice that. Very observant, especially over the internet. Your are right. I am not a person that does not. I don't think it flatters anyone when they do that. You win a prize. Where's Ric.... ?

Watch the inside the war room video (the one where the announce the Trubisky pick). Ignore everything but ask yourself, where's Fox? We see one quick snip of his back and then a short piece where he is on the phone. Maybe I am reading too much into it but if he (Fox) was on the inside and in the loop on the decisions he would have a larger part in the video. But then again I really want Fox to be gone so it could be just wishful thinking.

Fox was needed in the war room to keep food ordered and delivered. When he heard the cheering of "Trubisky" he thought they were talking about one of the deli sandwiches he'd ordered for the boys... he probably made a mental note to order Trubiskies more often, while wondering what the heck a "Trubisky" was.

Well, we know for certain that the bears are one third round pick this year and next year, for a total of 2 third round picks, further away than we were...

And looking at the list of 3rd rounders the Bears have picked; and others have picked in that spot(both 63 and 111th) there was literally no loss.

I'm really surprised that Pace didn't have Fox leading the charge on this. Being able to decipher what the other teams were going to do and devising an opposing strategy. It would have been right up that field generals chessmaster abilities.
