I feel a bit better about the signing after listening to his (Glennon's) press conference. The kid can definitely throw the ball. Lets see if we can give him some protection & play makers.
I like the guy. Loved the press conference. I hope they post a link to the entire pressor... I'd like to hear it again.

I just wonder who he is going to throw to after White and Miller end up on IR
They shouldn't be. I'd rather they eye Petermen or Webb
Just a question. Do you prefer Peterman over Kizer?
I'm beginning to think that there will not be such a run at QB this year after all. I could be totally wrong but some of the stuff I've been reading over the last 24 - 36 hours seems to indicate that the teams may not be as enamored with this QB class as in recent years.

Not sure they should be either...just guessing lol, but there were stories about how they were showing interest several months ago, but who knows. The kid isn't a train wreck though, and if they can get him in the 3rd i wouldn't be upset...
One thing I love about Kaaya is his play-action move that breaks defenses lol it isn't every time he play fakes, but saw some guy on YouTube point it out and it's fun to watch lol...but it's when he really sells it and hangs his arm while staring down the RB.

Considering I would say Kizer is the 2nd best qb option in the draft after Watson no. I have would take the top 3 over all the other qb's. then Webb and Peterman and Maholmes. I'm not sure I would bother w/the rest.
this is what is said about Kaaya, and while i'm not a huge fan of arm strength you have to have a really good one to play 8 games in soldier field:
SOURCES TELL US “I really love his mental makeup and I want to like him more as a prospect. I just think someone is going to overdraft the person or the intangibles. At the end of the day, he has to throw with better accuracy and velocity or he’ll be just another guy.” -- Director of pro personnel for NFC team
NFL COMPARISON Cody Kessler
BOTTOM LINE Groomed to be a quarterback from an early age, Kaaya flashes the mechanics and intelligence of a player who has spent hours in quarterback camps. However, he can be too mechanical and thinks too much rather than just flowing and responding to what the field offers him. Kaaya could have used another year of college, but he has the tools and intangibles to become an NFL starter. While he can work around his average arm strength, he must improve his accuracy and anticipation if he is to make a mark in the NFL.

I updated my post because I didn't include some of the reasoning behind it. I keep seeing some posts that might indicate that teams aren't as enthused about the current QB class as in the last couple of years. I don't know who will drop but I am kind of getting the feeling that a couple of QBs might fall into the 2nd round. Basically the more project QBs (Mahomes, possibly Kizer). And that was behind my question aboutPeterson vs Kizer.
I just heard part of his presser and I agree with JABF. I like him.
It may be an interesting year. I posted my thoughts in a post a few days ago that if all we did this year was get a franchise QB, that it would have been a successful year. Honestly, I don't know if this guy is it and his record indicates he is not, but I am rooting for him.
Of course, I won't stop dogging him... just because it's in my genetic makeup. And if I was going to change my genetic makeup, I'd request boobs. Of course, if I keep eating like I have been, I may be able to grow my own.
Bottom line, he has my support until he shows me otherwise. He is a Bear and now he's our Bear.
