Full list of Bears who are practice squad eligible

The Chicago Bears’ preseason is over, and soon they will be forced to cut their roster down to the final 53 players they will take into the regular season. Twenty-two tough decisions have to be made, and a number of factors will go into how Ryan Pace decides to trim down his roster.
One thing that has to be on his mind is which players are eligible to be signed to the practice squad if they clear waivers. If two players are very close in Pace’s eyes, he may opt to release the one that he could potentially stash, while keeping ineligible players on the full roster.
However, as part of the league’s rules for the practice squad, the Bears are only allowed to keep four players on the 10-man squad who have accrued seasons (a maximum of two) in the NFL. The other six must have not been on an active roster for more than six games in a season.
The Bears will inevitably add an outside player or two to their practice squad, but they have plenty of guys from their own preseason roster who are eligible, should Pace decide to try and clear them through waivers.
Running backs: Ka’Deem Carey*, Senorise Perry*, Paul Lasike
Tight ends: Khari Lee*, Greg Scruggs*, Ben Braunecker, Gannon Sinclair
Wide receivers: Cameron Meredith*, Daniel Braverman, B.J. Daniels*, Derek Keaton, Kieren Duncan, Darrin Peterson
Offensive linemen: Khaled Homes*, Jason Waver, John Kling
Defensive linemen: Ego Ferguson*, Will Sutton*, Terry Williams, Marquis Jackson,
Linebackers: Christian Jones*, Jonathan Anderson*, John Timu*, Lamin Barrow*, Danny Mason, Jarrett Grace
Defensive backs: Bryce Callahan*, Demontre Hurst*, De’Vante Bausby, Jacoby Glenn, Taveze Calhoun, Kevin Peterson, Joel Ross, DeAndre Houston-Carson
Players designated with asterisks have accrued seasons, meaning the Bears can only keep up to four of them on their practice squad.
This list of practice squad eligible did not include Jeremy Langford, Jordan Howard, Kevin White, Charles Leno, Cody Whitehair, Cornelius Edison, Jonathan Bullard, Nick Kwiatkoski, Leonard Floyd, Kyle Fuller, Deiondre Hall, Adrian Amos, Harold Jones-Quartey, and Deon Bush, who are all also eligible, but face little-to-no risk of being released.
