I liked his potential also, BUT, I said cleveland would ruin him and they did.
He didn't fare any better in Green Bay behind one of the best QBs in the NFL to learn from.
More likely than being "ruined", he just plain sucks and would have no matter where he was.
Another "big arm" QB who simply isn't good at his job. Even as a backup
nah he was raw and needed to sit and learn for at least 2 yrs, he got thrown in to early on a bad team. he was hardly a guarantee but that browns team was 100% trash gm-players
Vedvik cut, thank God Pace didn’t budge from his conditional pick offer. Keep spending those fifths on PKs Minny.
Our most recent 5th round pick, LB Cameron Smith, got waived today, so it's not like the 5th rounders are really helping the team. Not that it's an excuse to just light them on fire, but...
Yeah no way to sugar coat it - Kizer was overrated in college and he sucked in the NFL. I can’t believe how many college QB’s who are constantly WAY inconsistent in their accuracy somehow sneak their way up draft boards. I clearly remember both Kizer and Hackenberg (Penn St) somehow moving up in the draft but after watching both of them play in college I was thinking there is no way in hell I’d draft either of these guys
Remember a couple years ago when you really wanted Kizer in the draft, JABF?
2nd round total BUST
That was me. I was the big Kizer fan.
I only follow the Big Ten and Notre Dame and I really liked what I saw and thought he would look good here. I had him #1 on my board, Watson 2nd and Mitch 3rd. ^^
Then again, I also thought Hackenberg looked very promising so what do I know....
