I get it. If it were easy to hire a good coach then there wouldn't be any bad coaches. But I don't think Zimmer has a clue. He reminds me (a bit) of John Fox. Just another clueless guy who knew D but is not much as a HC.

That botched challenge blew my mind. Reminded me of that challenge on a scoring play in Fox's last year where we ended up losing possession because Fox messed up the challenge.

Cody parkey is the single greatest threat to the playoffs. could Trubs have a turnover or turnovers, yes, every qb going against a playoff team can. but in the last 3 weeks he hasnt so its hardly the greatest threat

If it comes down to a FG, then I agree. Trubs hasn't faced playoff pressure and defenses for the last 3 weeks. Most of the other QBs we will face have. The Bears will get knocked out of the playoffs whenever Trubs has a bad game with turnovers. if he doesn't turn it over, we can beat any of these teams -- even N.O.

You don't think that the Vikes or the 49ers weren't bringing everything they had? The Vikes offense (and play calling) seemed a bit off but their defense was going their dead best (especially at the beginning). And the 49ers really showed up to play as well.

Statistically at least the Vikes are a top 5 defense.

To state the obvious, the Vikes are not a playoff team. The real test is whether Trubs can take care of the ball while playing on the road in the playoffs. That will decide how far we can go. Regular season stats have nothing to do with it.

Saying that Vikings D is not a playoff D, and that Eagles is, well, is very misleading. True, but not really.
