I understand the reasons for resting players. I do. But I also think tanking a game has a negative consequence too. Yes, it will be bad if a key player gets injured and is unavailable for the playoffs. And Nagy will be crucified if that happens in a meaningless game. But I also believe you play the game to win. Every game. The ideal would be to play hard at Minny and win that game - and go into the playoffs firing on all cylinders. Frankly, I think we will have our hands full at the Vikings even if we do play our starters all game.
One other thing. I also understand the benefit of having a bye week in the playoffs. But frankly, I would rather see us play in the wildcard round. With a young team like ours, I don't think a layoff is a good thing. I don't. Play your best ball and keep it rolling with the wins. Trubisky in particular needs to keep it going without layoffs. JMO.

I want the Bears to win regardless. It is a given that the Bears will have the #3 spot, I just don't see the Rams losing to the 49ers.
Our team needs all the experience it can get. You play until there is a big blowout then rest our starters. If we're up 28-0 going into the 4th you rest your big time players Trubisky, Mack, Robinson, and etc...

The Eagles have just beaten the Rams and the Texans. Right now I’d much rather play the Vikings in the wild card game. Therefore I reckon we should sit starters once it is clear the bye is unattainable.

Chicago aren’t consistent enough to be worrying about things like this. They need to play like this is a playoff game and play to win. You only rest people if they need a to recover from injury.. If they put up a big score on Minny they can rest as many as they want, if it’s close then they keep the intensity unless some one is injured and needs replacing.

This is exactly what I expect from Nagy and the team. I am sure that Zimmer and the Vikes do too.
I would be terribly disappointed to see anything else.
