I'm truly shocked too see so many people surprised by this. The team always had talent but injuries has held us back for 3 years. Add in the best pass rusher and some offensive weapons for Trubisky and this is the results.
BTW, MOTM, Floyd had another really good game. He's picked up his play noticeably the last 4-6 weeks. Pace may invoke the 5th year option after all.
Hopefully he can keep this kind of play going into the playoffs...
Its always a win for a player to either match or exceed their pick position.
I think we can all agree this is a great photo to keep for future Packers vs Bears games
God I love that pic!
Btw, it's been said that Leonard Floyd is kinda skinny for an OLB. Skinny.... Look at his left arm. Holy smokes.
Sometimes I think we forget how HUGE and strong even the "skinny" players are. haha
I was looking at Bosa and TJ Watt. The 3 of them are not too far off on their size. Floyd seems to be benefiting greatly with Mack. Love to keep them together a few more years. Of course if you have chance to upgrade, you do. But Floyd has a few good players to learn from now.

He's not so "skinny" any longer. He's added weight and muscle.
The Bears still have him at 251lbs and I'd say he's all of that now. Yesterday was the first game where I saw him use both edge speed and strength to push the pocket and rush inside.
He must really like sacking Rodgers because somehow he tends to show up in a Packer game. He nearly had two more sacks if he'd not simply over run Rodgers and allowed him to duck out of them. That would have been four all day.
I can honestly say he's much improved vs the first half of the year. If he can put together two more strong games and keep it up in the playoffs then my feeling is Pace will pick up his 5th year option but he has to earn that now.
Chicago Bears ... your 2018 NFCN champs - predicted no one. lol.
Congrats, guys! You deserve it!

But not the same level of talent across the board we have now.
Along with Mitch skill players like Cohen, Burton, Turbo, Miller and ARob have pushed us much higher offensively. These guys are far better playmakers than we've ever had collectively under Lovie, Trestman, or Fox.
Defensively we not only lacked a Mack but also young studs like Smith and Jackson and guys like Fuller and Amukamara are finally playing up to their best abilities and our DL simply dominates teams.

I've noticed it too. And Floyd is gonna get a lotta minutes to show he's for real the next 2 weeks as I'm sure Lynch will be out.
