There were actually four but this one sums up the rest and saves space.
Same old sloppiness plagued Bears

The Bears struggled with penalty issues and sloppiness during the early portion of the season, but it seemed like they had turned a corner and started playing like a more consistent football team. The same issues reared their ugly head again in Week 15.
Flags were all over Ford Field, and more often than not, referee Jeff Triplette was pointing to the Bears’ side of the field.
Chicago was penalized 13 times for 97 yards, and they played critical roles in the failure of all three phases.
Offensively, holding and illegal blocks put Trubisky and company behind the sticks, and a variety of defensive infractions kept drives alive for Detroit.
Worst of all might have been on special teams, when a holding penalty on safety DeAndre Houston-Carson brought back a 90-yard kickoff return by Tarik Cohen that would have set the Bears up with easy points. Related
Chicago was back to looking like the sloppy, poorly coached team they played like for much of the season, and John Fox’s seat continued to get warmer.
Warm? That mother should be so hot by now that if he sits in it we'll have a baked ham in less than ten minutes. How can any team play this poorly and take so many penalties this deep into a season? They are very possibly the worst disciplined and worst coached team in the entire NFL. It's completely inexcusable.
