Bears TE Adam Shaheen expected to miss Week 15 vs. Lions

The Chicago Bears took a chance on small-school tight end Adam Shaheen in the second round of the 2017 NFL Draft, and over the last handful of games, the 6-foot-6 pass-catcher is finally starting to emerge.
Shaheen had his best game as a pro in Week 14 against the Bengals, recording four catches for 44 yards and a touchdown. It looked like he injured himself on the touchdown catch, and he’s been listed as questionable all week.
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Shaheen is expected to miss Saturday’s game against the Lions.

#Bears TE Adam Shaheen (chest), who is listed as questionable against the #Lions, is not expected to play, source said. Chicago goes in a little short-handed.
Shaheen has 12 catches for 127 yards and three touchdowns on the season, one of which came against the Lions the last time the two teams met.
Dion Sims will be the primary tight end against Detroit with Daniel Brown playing a bigger role in Shaheen’s absence.
