I don't think so. I'm not the GM - Thank god - but I haven't seen anything from him that suggests he'd make a good HC and I'd hate for a GM to decide he is a good candidate after the horrific play calling he's made the first two weeks of the season.
Hype and we all bought into it. Not just at TE either.
Miller/Simms should be a bigger part of this O then they are; especially w/the lack of WR talent. But the lack of WR talent a far bigger issue then any of us expected.
Meredith/White/and one or 2 of the FA's looked to be a good enough group, but no meredith, no white, wheaton injured and all of a sudden you are, again, throwing to Bellamy, Thompson and and not much else.
Fans want them to take shots down field, but to who? They don't have downfield threats. There is no Julio Jones, Mike Evans etc.
Worse yet, Sitton, Long, Compton are all injured this game, again the OL is falling apart early, and now you have Grasu at OC, Whitehair at OG and another backup's backup. How do you throw long when you have no time to do it and no wr's to do it anyways?
What you do have is guys that can work 10-25 yards downfield but the QB/OC aren't making the calls to do it consistently enough to make the D back off.

+1 I am guilty of it also. I bought into the Ryan Pace era. I am quickly getting cold feet now. The work product for Ryan Pace is not exactly shazzaming me right now.
