Trevathan, Cutler, White, Miller, Grasu, Long were all expected to be or were starters. Fuller was also expected to be a starter. Thats 6, 7 if you include Fuller. Ego was expected to be part of a regular rotation, as were Houston and Sutton. Add another 3. I can't believe I need to explain this to people who know football...but what happens when starters and their back ups get hurt? But yes...lets separate reality from myth and fact. Yeah... you're right...you should only lose a game or two when Matt Barkley is your QB and you're starting Cre'Veon LeBlanc, Bryce Callahan, Jonathan Banks and Jacoby Glenn at corner.
We aren't gonna agree you know so let's let it go.
If you're correct about all of this with all of those guys 100% healthy and all of the talent we've added and will add in April we should have one hell of a year right? It's becoming a massively upgrade roster.
But if I'm right John Fox could swap teams with Belicheat and still find ways to lose more than half his games while Belicheat will find a way to at least make the playoffs with our guys.
To be continued in December. LOL
You think Belichick would make the playoffs with our roster last season? God bless ya soul.

The chicken and the egg. Belichick would not have this roster.

Why wouldn't he? From the point of Trestman leaving to Bellicheck coming, what is he going to do so vastly different that 2 years later we are in the SB? He sure to hell wouldn't have kept Cutler any longer then he had to.

huh?!
Sorry playoffs. Going off of what that conversation was.
Whether it was Bellicheck or Pace/Fox this team needed a near 100% overhaul, as proven w/the fact that there are like 2 guys still left on the team from before Fox/Pace got here. There was next to no talent then, and they are just now building the team backup.

Because Kraft would have never hired an amateur like Trestman in the first place.
And who died and make you king, Soulman has every right to point of view and what is wrong with this and as you do while drinking the Kool Aid while wearing your rose colored glasses, as you post. We had to put up with your 24/7 365 bitching about Jeffery's. So just sit back and listen to what others have say because just like everyone your opinion means nothing. Funny how you don't like to hear others bitching but when it's you doing the bitching your non stop.
By the way Soulman and me did the same bitching last year. While other said how wrong we were. Funny how we said that under Pace and Fox the Bears weren't going to be worth a damn. while those who kept drinking the Kool Aid while wearing their rose colored glasses were said we were wrong the Bears were going to win 8, 9 and even 10 games and in some cases. Maybe not you but some and for those who forgot the great Bears team of 2016 went 3-13.
Where did I say he didn't have the right JJ? I never said for him to stop posting...did I? Further...I must have missed where you two predicted we'd have close to 20 guys on the IR and a bunch of other starters missing significant time...start a QB off the street for a majority of games and have guys we picked up off the street starting in our secondary. Where were those predictions eh? And even given all that we lost 7 games by 1 score or less.
I never said you said that Soulman didn't have the right to post. Quit coming up with these childish bogus answers when you have no real answer.
It wasn't hard to predicted the Bears were going me a losing team last and this year when Pace keeps signing FA who have injury problem or weren't good enough to see much playing time over most of their career and no other team is all that interested in signing them, Think the saying everyone like to use is Low risk high rewards and so far there haven't been many rewards out of these worthless picks.

Who are the free agents Pace signed with an injury history? List them. You guys are gonna need to start giving more specifics instead of the baseless generalities you like to throw out.

Sorry Butkus, but I have to agree. He never said anything about your saying he did not have the right to post. He was saying that Soulman has a right to his point of view. There really is a difference.

Either way, I wasn't saying Soul didn't have a right to his point of view either. Me and Soul have gone back and forth in a very respectful manner with one another, so I really don't understand where JJ is coming from at all to be quite honest. Soul and I disagree and we're talking it out from there. It's a discussion that would happen in any bar across America. Neither one of us has told the other to shut the F up, and I've even said to Soul that I understand where he's coming from and he isn't coming from out of right field. My whole issue, which I have expressed to Soul, is the venom with which he's choosing to deliver his message. He has neglected to address any positives, and instead chose to focus on all thats negative. Hence my comment "I fully expect Soul to shit on every move the Bears make, it's the role he's chosen to play". I have no issues with Soul, so I'm not sure why JJ felt the need to interject in the manner he did.
