Wait, Braggs thinks the Bears can get Harbaugh? Pipe dream. One, he is very happy with the Chargers. Two, one big reason he went there is Justin Herbert. Ever hear him talk about Herbert? It's not just coach talk. He feels he has his franchise QB for another 10 years at least.
I believe this as well. I don't really think Harbaugh wanted to come to Chicago. He has been there, knows the Family and how they work. That and Waldo Warren being the Lakefront lookout man.
"For the uninitated, this is how things go in Chicago. George McCaskey hires a defensive-minded coach who checks all the Good Guy boxes, and things go okay for a little bit. The defense gets good, which Chicago loves, and people start believing again. Then they draft a great quarterback with a ton of potential with the idea that he'll be the world's best replacement-level game manager. Chicago doesn't love that as much. After that comes a bunch of really tone-deaf answers from said head coach, a few mid-season desparation moves, and then eventually his pink slip. The QB moves on somewhere else and looks salvagable, but the cycle begins anew in Chicago. Somewhere in there, they lose to the Packers. Time is a flat circle."

so I expect it would be biased. What I wonder about is the ending of the quote: "Time is a flat circle". Somebody on this board uses that phrase in their signature. hmmmm....

He's was referring to last offseason. He was a big proponent of JH back then, as was I.
There's plenty of people who will say stuff like: "Harbaugh didn't want the job".
BS
He would have gladly taken the Bears job given his history and the chance to coach up Caleb Williams and the weapons around him. He even dropped hints in the media that he would be interested.
The higher ups in the Bears stupid organization didn't want to pay him, didn't want to give him the influence he wanted, and in general can't stand the idea of having a HC with a media personality.
Last job in the NFC North Harbaugh was interested in, and even interviewed for, was the Vikes job.
Harbaugh was all about getting the Chargers job for quite some time before being hired in January.
I actually hope the Bears find the right coach for them. I have said before that I want the NFC North as strong as possible. If Ben Johnson isn't interested in the Bears, I feel they should go after Kingsbury. I know he didn't work out in Arizona, but he learned a lot from that. Now he knows what not to do and how to hire the right staff. He has had a big part in Daniels development and success. Caleb would love him and needs him.

Who uses time is a flat circle in their sig? Not that it matters, just curious.

ok, now you have me going to look
MSN doesn't write original stories, they sometime ago slid into the sportsmockery model of sports reporting. They either take other stories and rewrite them as their own, adding more speculation by referring to "team insiders" or they repost fansided stuff as original reporting.
As with sportsmockery, as MSN you always need to check the source.
