This is what we all worried about. I think the party may be over soon. They next few games don't worry me, but this division is brutal and I honestly do not think we stack up well at this point in time. I am pretty anxious to see how we do in these games. It will be a good gauge. Our division is maybe the toughest in the league and if you can win here, you can win against any team.
Yeah, the level of competition is at a whole new level. I'm glad the schedule was easier the first six games so Caleb and the other new players and coaches could get a lot of game reps before the better competition. I was thinking it would be 2025 before the team would be able to win against that level of competition. But it would sure be nice to win a few of these games - at this level - in 2024.

The only reason why the other teams in our division have the records they do is because they haven't played us yet.
The next three games are all winnable.
From there we get tested, but this is the NFL and you cannot play jokers every week.
I'm of the mindset that by the time we get to the Packers on 11/17 for the first division game that Caleb has taken another step or two forward and the defense continues it's dominance.
This team is not the 2022 or 2023 Bears in the slightest. This is a totally different roster. I refuse to concede that any game on this schedule is an automatic loss.
Any team with a top 5 D and an offense that can drop 30 is capable of beating anybody and that is my expectation of our team.

If you're right, you'll need a new signature line.
Strength of schedule doesn't concern me. Bears will play the teams that show up. Minny not looking so good now coming off a 2 game losing streak and losing their LT. The backup was terrible, repeat terrible. Every team is 1 or 2 injuries away from strength of schedule being meaningless.
Washington Sunday, take care of business with ARI, and then handle NE.
Thats my only concern right now. Lets see how the other teams look in three weeks. I'm willing to bet that after this weeks games, if you ran strength of schedule again (which only goes by win-loss record), the Bears won't have the 3rd hardest anymore. But no one will say anything because its more fun to PANIC NOW!!!!! ha ha ha
