That's what they say, but really couldn't you say that about NY and Chicago; what about SD or Oakland(who have the same weather and options of things to do). Why does Miami have no issues?
I think it's a cop out. The fanbase there likes college football, and probasketball/baseball(which btw don't have issues selling out either.
*by selling out I mean drawing enough crowds to make a profit, really mistated my intention*
Good point. Maybe it has to do with the history of those franchises. Miami seems to love their football and basketball team yet they can't get anyone to go to baseball games.
That would be my theory. Maybe someone should hire PFF watch something on TV about LA so they can tell us why they don't like football; God knows we aren't qualified to have an opinion w/out them telling us what it is.
Rumor is going around that Jim Harbaugh is going to the Rams.
I'd be really stunned if that happened. He's got a ton of money flowing in from Michigan and his buy out is going to cost as much, as his contract will. And ya that team is hot garbage.
then again rumor was the Bears had a consultant in earlier this year, and that Fox was out, and now that Fangio is out, and that Polian is in, and that Cutler was out, then almost certainly coming back, and now b/c of the injury out again.
I think it's humorous that they thought LA, even w/a winning team would sell out. They don't like the NFL, they are a college city. You could put 5 teams in that city and it wouldn't get any of them to sell out.
Not even much of a college town. There are a ton of things to do outdoors all year long, and if the local teams aren't winning, the fans aren't going.
