That's a great point.  The GM is tasked with providing the players the HC feels he needs to win.  Eberflus' fingerprints are all over the player acquisitions to date and he can't do squat with them.  It was a mistake to bring in a "Cover-2 guy" as the HC.  He is a "poor man's Lovie Smith" I think.  Bears got rid of the real Lovie Smith (rightfully so).  Why on earth do we need a fake one?

His entire structure is built like a house of cards b/c it cannot be enforced evenly on the pro level. High dollar, long term contracts and high draft picks and costly trades are going to have to see the field regardless of their hustle. And once that is seen by the team, the HITS turn to SHIT and it all goes tits up.

Took less then 2 seasons for it to all fall apart. This is what nepotism gets you. Mc's and their crew got the list of HC's they wanted, then hired the GM that would hire off that list b/c his agent was also the agent of one on the list; who just happened to be a Lovie style tampa 2 disciple. Mc's just cannot resist pissing in their own cheerio's.

I guess ST coach is next, we can run that down to the ground too!
