This morning I feel like the Bears will bounce back with a better game. I still expect a lot of rough play at times but less than what we had last week. In fact, I think we could win this game. It won't be easy. But many of the things that went wrong last week are things that can be cleaned up.
One other thought. It looked to me like a LOT of the teams last week - even the better teams - looked pretty bad at times. Not as bad as the Bears but still pretty rough. I'm wondering if this formula they have now of having minimal game experience in the preseason games (for the starters) is the reason for what we see in the league now. The football last week looked bad in many games... poor chemistry and timing, stupid penalties, rough execution... the whole gamut of what the league had last week. Let's see if the entire league looks better this week including the Bears.
