Utterly disgusted with this performance. That's all I can say. Why we never play starters in preseason is beyond me. This is the end result. Just shit on both sides of the ball.
Sad game. I feel super bad. And trust me, I dont need this. Should be fun. In fact its a pretty awful feeling. Our franchise is at the very bottom of the league.
What a miserable day for me. Both the Bears and Seahawks were whipped, and I really thought both should win their games.
I am now asking myself….
1. Are the Packers REALLY that good? 2. Are the Bears REALLY that bad?
Some teams just seem to have the whammy on others. I watch the Browns thrash Joe Burrow and the Bengals. The Bengals are not that bad….maybe the Bears aren’t, either. (Desperately clinging to a straw perhaps.)

In regards to the Bears, it looks like they beat themselves in this game. The Packers didn't have to do much, other than watch the self-destruction. The Bears team was not ready to play today. The players made mistakes, no question, but the coaching staff did not put a team on the field that was ready to play the Green Bay Packers team. Can the coaches clean things up? I hope so, but the plane is in the air now for the 2023 season and you can't rebuild the engines in flight. This is our team for '23. It is not good.

Bears are that bad. They needed to overhaul the OL, and didn't. They needed to overhaul the WR's; they didn't. All that mattered was getting the O working, and they were spent most of the 2 offseasons trying to fix the Def; and failed at it.
McCaskey's hired wrong again leading to Poles hiring wrong again, leading to bad FA and drafts, leaving the best rookie qb option they have had to date flopping in the wind. Fields, like Mitch might not be good enough, might never have been, but they were never given any chances either. Need an OL to protect first, then 2 legit receiving threats, then a legit run game that can act as a safety valve on passing plays.
The Bears have had that 2 times since 2000. Once with Cutler, Marshal Jeffery Forte and Bennett. And then the 2nd year w/Mitch w/Robinson, Gabriel, Burton Cohen. Neither team actually had high quality OL though. They at least tried to build options(plural) for the qb; but w/out quality OL's it doesn't matter.

It is not just that he brought in not enough offense, the defense is also not much better than last year, if this game is any indication. The Bears remain weak in the trenches on both sides of the ball. This is all very disheartening.
