Terrell Lewis was cut today. He is better than Robinson and Green. Oh, and the kicker is that his replacement is Poles latest lost dog (Kareem).
A) Kareem is FLUS' guy, not Poles. Indy connection and they saw him up close in the recent joint practices. B) Per Gabriel, Kareem is a much better run defender than Lewis, who is a pure situational pass rusher only. C) Lewis may end up back on the roster still. The shuffling process goes on until about week 2. D) Ian Cunningham addressed this in todays presser. They simply value run defense a lot after being worst in the league at it last season.

So is Robinson a run-stopper? Sure didn’t show last year. This was a bad decision no matter how they try to justify it.
I'm gonna guess that this latest injury to Glass Jenkins ends his chance of being a long-term option here. Poles will move on (or make plans to move on) next offseason. Tevin is really good when healthy but I'm sick of his shit too.
It's frustrating due to the fact he is a really good player, and when he's injured it has a significant impact on the quality of the OL. But, when I look at this actual injury history it is basically only 1 serious injury (the back) that required surgery that had him miss 11 games. Other than that he had a hip strain and missed 1 game, and a neck strain late last season that cost him 2 games. Then this month he strains both of his calves. I look at the list of the injuries and notice that none are really related. If the back surgery was successful then the other 3 injuries (a neck sprain, hip sprain and calf sprain) could just be things that could happen to any player, especially a lineman. Could this just be a bit of bad luck instead of being fragile? butkus3595 what do you make of it? I'm curious. Because if he's injury prone and likely to have this kind of thing moving forward then yeah, he needs to go. But is it?

I agree that DomRob is the Velus of the defense. He's getting a 2nd year largely because Poles drafted him and doesn't want to give up on him too soon.
I agree that DomRob didn't show much in TC or PS.
PS: Kareem also had a really good PS as a pass rusher with 3 sacks. He flashed as much as Lewis did in that regard.

The latest one is SUPER WEIRD and they're being really secretive about it.
He somehow strained both calves and it occurred AFTER practice but before the game in Indy. How the hell did that happen? No one is talking and reporters have asked.
I had a very bad calf/gastroc strain years ago (one side only obviously) from a ski accident and I can tell you it hurts really bad. It took me weeks to walk again normally and months to be able to run full speed. Not saying his was as severe but it obviously isn't minor either. He's already been out almost 2 weeks and he's IR'd now until at least early October. So it looks like a 6 week recovery at minimum.
What the hell happened off the field to cause that? The story will leak out eventually.

Break dancing in the lockerroom?
As an aside I was playing old man basketball (meaning we play full court on a 3/4 side court, 5 aside and well everyone runs about 8.1 in a 40.) I looked down during a time out (well actually, everyone else was "sprinting" down court on a fast break and I was wondering if I would ever breathe again) and I noticed someone had put an ankle brace on my left ankle, a knee brace on my left knee, and a knee sleeve on my right knee. Weird.

How do you do that while not at practice or in a game, or in a workout? I can only really see that via a workout gone wrong.
