I've never seen him in a Bears uni, even in pictures.
Is he alive?
If ever the Bears needed a guy to "show up" and ball out, it was this guy, during a summer where injuries reduced our OL to a state of musical-players at all the OL positions except for LT (Brax has been an iron man since he was drafted last year... starting every game and being there every snap last season). How can you build a strong OL if the players are constantly being in-and-out of the lineup? The OL, is like one player - everyone needs to be in sync on every play for the OL to be solid. Ours has been hurt by the constant change in players. This is why our offense has been so hit-and-miss. Even our run-blocking has deteriorated lately. What looked SO promising early in the summer camp is now just a herky-jerky mess.
The Bears invested heavily in Nate Davis. They need the guy to show up.
I just don't know what freaking curse we have with the Oline. It's literally been a few years since we fielded a competent & healthy Oline.
Quality depth is vital. We now have (I hope) decent starters if the mythical Nate Davis actually exists. I wish the Bears had backups good enough that Whitehair did not have to flip to guard.

Yes he is. He's been busy composing dance operas ...
Nathan Davis, composer About
Composer Nathan Davis's dance opera Hagoromo sets a 500-year-old Noh drama about a fisherman who covets an earthbound angel's magic garment. The work's premiere performances featured dancers Wendy Whelan, Jock Soto, vocal soloists Peter Tantsits and Katalin Károlyi, the International Contemporary Ensemble, Brooklyn Youth Chorus, and a puppeteering troupe. Davis captures the mythical beauty and timeless truths of this traditional Japanese tale with a sense of pathos that is humanistic and universal.
