Sounds like he really messed up and scared the crap out of people, ramming cars and hand-slapping one witness lady's face). Was babbling about buying people new cars... LOL, told them he'd drive them to the dealership to get new cars.

I found another article (TMZ Sports) on this incident, and it has some more detail. It looks like Quinn has a potential alcohol abuse issue. TMZ reports the Summerville, SC police found a partially empty bottle of Crown Royal Apple in his abandoned truck.
I liked Quinn as a player during his time at the Bears. Hoping he gets through this with help for any problems he has.

If it's an alcohol abuse problem (or some other problem), maybe the embarrassment of this will be a wake-up call to get help. Sometimes some good can come out of something like this. Sounds like this could have ended worse than it did. Hopefully, like you said, he gets some help for any problems he has.

Until we get more detail on what Quinn is going through, I'll assume he has some serious alcohol issue. I've had a few friends and family members who've suffered from alcoholism and getting into a traffic accident, abandoning their vehicle, hiding out and then giving themselves in to the cops (after making sure their BAC is 0.00) is a typical pattern of behavior.
Obviously, I could be overly sensitive to this or just flat wrong. But it's a pattern I've seen all too often.
well, it's obvious he needs help - Crown Royal Apple? Come on!!!!!
Seriously though, I agree with you guys. Was it alcohol or maybe too many concussions? we may never know. we need more info, but alcohol can have serious repercussions for both the user and others around them. you can't convict someone of a crime until it's been committed, but in the case of an alcohol-related traffic "accident" that's too late for all involved.
