1st waiver claim status could be interesting to watch.

I don't have a feeling either way. I do think he was brought in to help Getsy install the OFF and specifically with the OL on calls and protections. I don't feel he's expensive but like I said...I don't really care if he is here or cut.

Yeah, I agree.  He does seem like a really good guy trying to make it with marginal talent.  I'm not knocking him at all.  Just being honest.  He was an undrafted guy who was a somewhat decent backup in Green Bay.  But his ceiling was never more than a backup.  He was lucky to have carved out the career he has.  And he's 30 years old now... not too old to have a couple more years as a backup, if not here then some team may sign him to a (very) modest contract.  

I was looking over his blocking grades.  Holy cow they are beyond bad.  He played 269 snaps last season.  His pass blocking graded out at 30.8 for the season.  He had one game where he graded out at 7 (that's not a typo, it was seven!)... like, how is that even possible?  He played 69 snaps in that game (against Washington) at LG.  I looked up his career blocking grades at Green Bay and he sucked.  Even run blocking season grades in Green Bay were in the 30's to 50's for 4 of his 5 seasons there.  His value is in being able to play all 3 interior OL positions, and he has experience at all 3.  But these "swiss army knife" guys may be able to play at multiple positions, but it doesn't mean they are any good at any of them.
