1st waiver claim status could be interesting to watch.

They should be able to upgrade some positions nicely when the final cuts occur.

I have never paid any attention to the waiver claim order... just never thought about it until this year.  But that really is a fantastic thing to have (1st pick in the waiver-claim order).  In hindsight, Poles plan to tank last season has brought the team some incredible benefits - through the 2025 draft.  DJ Moore, and a boatload of draft picks, including us now having TWO 1st round picks next draft and an extra 2nd round pick in 2025 along with this 1st pick in the waiver order.  And by clearing all of the older underperforming player contracts last season, the Bears have the money to sign guys.  It all adds up to one heck of a great GM move by Poles.
