Sites I'm avoiding:
profootballtalk (because they went to more video and less short articles--I'm old and don't want to watch video.."GET OFF MY LAWN YOU DUMB KIDS!!")
I have a Google News search set up for "Chicago Bears" that is "sorted by date" option - so that the freshest news is listed first. It is fantastic because it gives a subject line and a brief blurb about the article or video (it grabs both written and videos). I have saved that search for my browser so I can just click on it any time. And I run that a few times a day to get a "menu type look" that the search results look like - I just click on the news menu option that looks interesting. The Athletic usually has high quality articles. I often read articles in the Chicago Tribune too... I know... many of you don't like Brad Biggs but I like his stuff. I am not too keen on Yahoo Sports stuff. I used to not like anything by Erik Lambert, but more recently he does have some good stuff. Yes, he is re-reporting from other sources. And sometimes he does whiff with a mediocre (and occasionally a downright bad article). But there are enough good reads there that I think they're worth reading. And if they ARE good, I re-re-re-post the stuff here LOL.
I personally enjoy written articles best. But I also like some of the pod cast stuff too. During the season I really enjoy watching people (qualified people) do film breakdowns on YouTube. J.T. O'Sullivan's QB School is one. But there have been a lot of others.
I don't know if this link will work for others (it's under my own Google sign on). But maybe it will work. Here's what I use for my Chicago Bears news searches:
