I'm also hoping the starters can stay healthy. Whitehair will be an "okay" center if he's healthy. Not great but not bad. Patrick just seems like a below-average lineman. Jenkins can be a solid OL if he's healthy but hasn't been healthy all that much. Nate Davis has been injured in camp too (Bears haven't had all five starters in pads at any point during training camp). That is so disappointing.
I keep wondering if any of the young players like, Ja'Tyre Carter, Doug Kramer or the others (Houy is one) - can be any good, at least as solid backups. The Bears need to draft a center in 2024. If Jenkins and Davis are made of glass then the Bears need both guard positions addressed in 2024 too.
