Brisker & Chase Claypool - 2023 Training Camp Standouts.

I've been studying all the video information I can find on Claypool.  He is a WR in the body of a TE.  To demonstrate how big he is, here is a pic of Claypool on the practice field near DJ Moore.  It is a large image, so I buried it in a spoiler.  He runs a 4.45 40, has a 40.5" vertical leap, did 19 reps on the 225 bench press, etc.  The dude is scary.

Claypool is a ridiculous physical specimen with a size/speed combo that is rare.  He had some "diva issues" and work ethic concerns in Pitt and hasn't always been as good as he should be at high-pointing and contested catches.  That was what wore out his welcome there.  Have a couple friends who are Steeler fans and that's how they assessed the sitch with him.

Fields and others have commented on how he's matured and he's been tearing up camp this year.  CC himself has said he knows how important this coming season is (his future career trajectory is on the line here big time).  If he proves it in real games this year, yeah we really got something.  Lotta Bears fans wanted to draft him couple years back.  

If he disappoints, he's gonna be sent packing in FA for a cheap 1-year deal with some rebuilding team.  His career hinges on this coming season.
