How are you feeling about this '23 Bears team at this point?

7-8 wins and contending for a WC. Thinking 2nd in the division, actually don't know who comes in first.

I personally spend long nights drinking the Bear Kool-Aid. So, I tend to be optimistic.  But I have been watching what you are talking about (especially in the highlighted part of your post) and I have been just blown away with what Poles and the coaches have been doing.

IMO, there are two big questions that need to be answered.  And they can only be answered by how the rest of camp and the preseason go and then the first few games of the season.  The first is how all the new players on the team integrate with the system and (especially for the rookies) how they develop.  The second is, can the team stay relatively healthy.  If both of these work out, I can see us being 1st or 2nd in the NFC North.

Same way I feel of my team.   Should be interesting 

I like what we’ve done, all though I wish someplace along the way, we would have drafted an edge. I expect us to be competitive. Whether we win the division, or get a WC position is up for grabs. As long as we end the season without any catastrophic injuries and have a clear path going forward on how we’re going to approach qb1, I’m happy. To me it’s about 2024 and 2025.
