He's a work in progress and a project... but with an incredibly high ceiling if the Bears can develop him and use him properly. Definitely an exciting player to keep an eye on.

"The first “ooh” play of camp came during one-on-ones in the passing game as rookie receiver Tyler Scott burned past cornerback Michael Ojemudia to haul in a deep ball from Fields. Scott has been impressive since the spring, particularly with his top-end speed. The Bears are working hard to find him a proper niche in their passing attack. Getsy labeled Scott “a tough dude who works really hard” and expressed optimism about where his career can head."

Tyler Scott Settling In
"On Thursday, Scott shined with two deep catches that went for touchdowns. The first came in 1-on-1 drills. Scott got a step on Michael Ojemudia, Fields hit Scott in stride, and Scott had no trouble reeling in the ball for a score. The second was a pass from P.J. Walker during 11-on-11 drills. Scott ran past Jaylon Jones this time, Walker delivered another great ball, and Scott once again made the catch in stride for a touchdown. “He's a tough dude that works really hard and when you have talent and you have those two things, really good things are going to happen,” said offensive coordinator Luke Getsy. “I think he's a guy who's putting that on display.”

Tyler Scott ‘attacking' opportunities in Bears camp, Getsy says
"Chicago Bears rookie wide receiver Tyler Scott is already turning heads during preseason workouts, earning praise from offensive coordinator Luke Getsy after Thursday’s workouts at Halas Hall. Scott, taken with the 133rd-overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, hasn’t taken an official professional snap yet, but his attitude and approach could be indicative of future success, Getsy believes. “We’re trying to keep it in his wheelhouse, but he’s attacking it every day the right way,” he said. “If he’s able to get better every single day, we’re going to be better because of it.” NBC Sports Chicago Bears reporter Alex Shapiro praised Scott’s performance on Thursday in his observations column, with the wideout hauling in several touchdown passes during practice at Halas Hall, and Getsy says his mental approach has been just as good as his physical traits early on."
