Kmet Signs 4 Year, $50 Mill Extension!

That is HUGE.  Kmet has really improved and it's not easy to get good TE's... they are so coveted and the supply of really good ones is limited.  My other thought is that THIS is one reason why I like Poles being careful with the money - so he can re-sign the better players you already have on the roster.  Love this signing.

This is great. It probably means the CAP hit could be like this:

20M 1st year money = 4M salary guaranteed plus 16M signing bonus (16 ÷ 4 = 4M).

So 2024 CAP hit = 8M.

Methinks anyway.

I'm having a good summer.  I am so thankful for some football... finally.  Seemed like the off season lasted forever this year.  The only sad thing for us was that we had to put our cat down... he was old but a very good buddy.  He was always with me when I watched the Bears games.  I miss the old guy.
