Ryan Poles has been here less than a year and a half. Yet he has accomplished a lot in that short amount of time, considering the extent that the team had deteriorated. He inherited a mess. I don't know about you, but I was feeling pretty depressed by how far the franchise had fallen over the years... even the Detroit Lions franchise was better at that point - I mean, how sad was that?
Ted Philips is gone, and replaced by Kevin Warren. Huge upgrade. Poles and Ian Cunningham are a great GM/Assistant GM combo. You couldn't want for better "football guys" than Warren/Poles/Cunningham at the top.
What a difference we now see. The franchise has a very bright future, beginning this upcoming season. And it is just the "beginning" of long term success I think. I truly believe that.
