He was only commenting on the role and impact of "scheme fit" when it came to a possible OB signing. Wasn't suggesting he was an insider or privy to any FA negotiations.
Maybe his view is outdated as Butkus suggests.
Speaking of OB and his signing with the Bengals...they now have a glut of tackles, and I wonder what they'll do with La'el Collins. I can't speak to whether he's a scheme fit or not...but I wonder what it would take to get him in a trade.

There's also been rumors that Tunsil could be available. Probably won't amount to anything but worth mulling over.
Strange....Cincy has an abysmal OL just a couple years ago. Literally got Burrow hurt his rookie year, not an exaggeration. In his 2nd year they went to the SB IN SPITE of their OL, not because of it. It was still not very good.
Now all of a sudden they have a surplus of OTs....strange. I do think they got a Freakin STEAL with Brown yesterday.
