Kyle Fuller returns to Bears practice, officially ending Kevin White's season
Chicago Bears cornerback Kyle Fuller returned to practice Wednesday morning after the team designated him to return from injured reserve.
Because a team can only designate one player to come off IR, that means receiver Kevin White's season is over.
After Fuller had knee surgery in August, the Bears hoped he would miss only a couple of games in a worst-case scenario. But his recovery lagged, and injuries at other positions forced the Bears to clear a roster spot by putting Fuller on IR.
White, meanwhile, suffered a broken fibula in his left leg on Oct. 2 against the Lions. The Bears prioritized designating him as the player to come back from injured reserve, but it recently became clear that he would not be fit in time to play in a game this season.
Well so far White has not been a big waste of money but more importantly a big waste of a needed draft pick. We all hoped that we would see a big return out of White but because of another injury all we can do is hope at some point get to finally see at least more then 4 games out of this kid.
I'm excited to see him back on the field. The Bears need to evaluate him to see if he's worth re-signing. You're not getting evaluated standing on the sideline in your Starter pants.

I feel the same way. We have 5 games to watch and see how he performs.
