Tracy Porter suffers concussion in Bears' 23-7 loss to Chiefs

The Bears can’t seem to go one day without an injury to one of their important players, ranging from a season-ending torn ACL to starting center Hroniss Grasu to nagging injuries that have kept first-round pick Leonard Floyd out of numerous practices throughout his first training camp in the NFL.
In Chicago’s 23-7 loss to the Chiefs in Week 3 of the preseason starting cornerback Tracy Porter suffered a concussion, an injury that is unpredictable when trying to determine a timetable for recovery.
Porter was injured when teammate Harold Jones-Quartey inadvertently kneed him in the back of the head when trying to make a play in pass defense.
Porter’s injury comes at the worst possible time for the secondary, as third-year man Kyle Fuller is on the mend from arthroscopic knee surgery and is considered week-to-week. With only two weeks until the Bears open the 2016 regular season against the Houston Texans, there’s a real chance that they could be without their top two corners.
If both players are out for the opener, the Bears would be left with rookie Deiondre Hall, De’Vante Bausby and Jacoby Glenn as their top three options to play the outside corner position. Players like Kevin Peterson and Sherrick McManis are more likely to make the team, too, in the event the injury bug isn’t remedied by final cut day.
It is really concerning but I have seen a rash of injuries from other teams as well, and a lot of ACL too. I can't remember a PS that had so many players go down with serious injuries.

I've caught on to a few others too but I usually don't have the time to review much more than what's shakin' with the Bears and the Broncos. I think before it's all said and done someone needs to take look at all this. Maybe guys are beginning to over train in the offseason??

This was a concussion. You think they are doing too much concussion training?

Well actually I was referring to malaga's post but as for the other that's how you do it isn't it?
If not please tell me the correct procedure for this because I've been banging my head against some walls so many times I feel like I'm totally immune to a simple concussion. I passed that long ago and am well on my way to permanent brain damage. Can you tell?

Should have been more specific, this PS and OTA I have seen a lot more leg injuries to include the Bears.

I got it and Houston did to he just wanted to bust my chops a little. That's another little "tradition" that seems to have developed. LOL
