Whether you like or don't like Greg Gabriel, he does make a good point about how some use social media to really stir the crap. Some meatball Bears fans eat this stuff up and believe anything - even quotes purposely taken out of context to build a false-narrative. This is not behind a paywall. It's too good to just quote a piece of it here. Good read.

Gabriel hasn't always been someone I've agreed with, but on this I am fully on his side and I don't think that comes as a surprise to anyone.

I tire of the crybaby fan. The ones sucking their thumbs about the team not giving anything back or how they've waited for 30 years... I'm glad he addressed that very thing, that 30 year sentiment. It's such bullcrap.

If not for fate, you could be a Lions fan, or a Vikings fan or one of a dozen other teams that have never won a championship or even been to the Super Bowl.

But because Chicago did in 1985 and you were a man-child back then, you have convinced yourself that you are ENTITLED to another one.

I got news. You're not entitled to jack. Go find another team.
