Bears wanted to sign QB Jake Rudock

No loss there.  He is just another Fales type QB.  Marginal NFL players drafted late in the draft.  Those guys are a dime a dozen.  Really they are not much more than a training camp arm.  But, that's what we've been reduced to signing now.  It is dumpster-diving in November.  Not good.

THIS is the QB I wanted the Bears to draft last year. Ugh!

Yes.  Here's scouting blurbs on him:

"Very average arm strength when forced into field side throws. Doesn't have arm to get away with late throws. Ball doesn't always come out on time forcing receivers against sideline. Needs to get better at leading receivers to keep defenders out of the catch point. Can be slow to work through progressions. Tends to keep reads restricted to one side of the field. Interceptions come when taking unnecessary chances with the ball. Has bouts of pocket anxiety when internal clock starts counting down."

"Rudock did not impress at the East-West Shrine practices. He wasn't horrible, but he looks like an undrafted quarterback who will compete as a training camp to be a team's third quarterback."

"Looks nothing like a prospect with slight build, so-so arm and slow feet."

LOL, I know. 
Nobody dumpster-dives as well as the Bears.
It's a "gift" we have to get these guys.
