All I know is if I hear one word out of a McCaskey or a Phillips mouth about bad breaks causing all this and not bad coaching and preparation as well then I will stop being a Bears fan until the second coming which is when Ginny says we may actually see new owners. I can't support their idiocy any longer without a desire to fire bomb Halas Hall and then tee pee all their quaint little suburban houses with prima cord and plastique.
And by tee pee you don't mean toilet paper, you mean drink a lot of tea and then pee...
With Jay and Freeman out, yeah... we won't win any more games. Maybe one if we are lucky. Now we have to find a way for the 49ers to win one more game.
I would say lend them some of our players, but I am trying to get them to win.

I thought it was his preferred method of prepping his tees when he goes golfing.

As a redshirt freshman, it look Liberty coaches exactly two games to stick Woodrum into the fire. In the third game of the 2012 season, he took over the starting job and didn't let go (save two games in 2014 he missed with an injury). Now hes the Flames' career record holder in passing yards (10,266), completions (833), and attempts (1,304). The three-time second team All-Big South selection and team captain is an efficient passer, throwing for 61 touchdown versus 30 interceptions in his career. The Flames were only 6-5 under head coach Turner Gill in 2015, but Woodrum's play help them beat two top 10 teams at home in Montana and Coastal Carolina, the latter victory closing out the quarterbacks collegiate career.
Analysis
Strengths Has necessary NFL size. Steps and drives his throws. Can put the ball on top of receivers with some pace. Accurate with blitz reads and gets ball to hot reads quickly. Can sense when corners are looking to jump routes and will pump fake his way into a cleaner throw. Has enough arm to operate in a more aggressive, vertical offense.
Weaknesses Stiff and limited outside of the pocket. Has windup with a short-armed release. Aims his throws. Drive accuracy is marginal. Over-the-top release with downward trajectory creates low, challenging catches. Lacks consistent accuracy and touch. Panics and rushes throws when he sees blitz coming. Lacks improvisational thinking. Slow to see throws come open over the middle and will run receivers into traffic.
Draft Projection Undrafted free agent
Bottom Line Woodrum has enough size and arm to get a scout's attention, but his average accuracy and lack of touchdown production relative to his passing attempts is disappointing. Woodrum might be worth grooming, but he is a pocket passer who is missing the field vision usually associated with those types of "stash" prospects.
So with our O-line as it is now, expect the absolute worst with this guy.

So he is just like Cutler, but he has a rep for pump faking...

Our only hope is that he has long arms. Maybe that's why we signed him. He probably has arms like an orangutan.
And to think that some dimbulbs got all cranked up after we beat a reeling Vikes , and actually started talking about ...
Seem like the biggest dimbulbs of all were the players themselves blue. They got a bit cocky then walked into a buzz saw in TB and got their asses handed to them. This game was really of little consequence. The season ended with that Bucs game.
