What I want to read is how the Chicago media responds to this one since Freeman has been an All American guy here and under no suspicion for anything even as simple as an injury issue. We're not talking about a rookie trying just hang on the roster here.
I also want to read how some of you who were putting AJ down for his **** up will also respond to this news and last but not least we need to hear from John Fox about why so many players have had this same issue while he's been the HC on three different teams!
As far as I'm concerned this should be the final nail in Foxy's coffin. In the previous 12 years we've had four players suspended for testing positive for prohibited PEDs and now we've had five or six in just 1 1/2 years under Fox. Two so far this year and both top shelf starters.
Something ain't kosher around Halas Hall and it's not Colonel Mustard, in the Library, with a knife. The guy has to go and if our training staff has any responsibility or lack thereof in all this then some heads need to fall there too. Ever since Pace revamped that bunch all I've seen is our injuries rising to catastrophic levels and while not all of this is on them it's still an area to be looked into because now Pace has to answer for all this too.
If this won't get the McCaskeys off their asses to hire an Exec VP to start running that place like it should be someone should revoke their rights as owners. This is turning into a Keystones Kops kind of comedy. Chicago Browns here we come.
Jerrell Freeman suspended 4 games for violating NFL policy on PEDs By: Lorin Cox | 20 minutes ago
Exactly one week after Chicago Bears wide receiver Alshon Jeffery was suspended for four games, inside linebacker Jerrell Freeman joined him, earning a four-game suspension of his own for the same violation of the NFL’s policy on performance enhancing substances.
This puts a dark cloud over what was a great season so far for Freeman, the Bears’ leading tackler and their highest-graded player by Pro Football Focus. He has been their leader in the middle, and this suspension certainly comes as a surprise for a player as stead as he’s been.
The Bears have now lost their best offensive and defensive play-makers to suspensions for the same violation, further weakening a team that was already incredibly thin because of injuries.
Freeman’s absence piles on a team that is still trying to overcome the losses of tight end Zach Miller, rookie outside linebacker Leonard Floyd and potentially left guard Josh Sitton, who all left Sunday’s game against the New York Giants with injuries and could not return.
Freeman’s suspension will open up playing time for rookie fourth-round pick Nick Kwiatkoski at inside linebacker, a promising young player who has not been able to find playing time on defense behind Freeman and Danny Trevathan.
The hits keep coming for the Bears, who keep finding new ways to make their 2-8 season even worse.
Wow tha ole Bag must be going nuts. We are a full blown circus now LOL. Jebbus chrips
Unless she gets off her duff and tells GMcC she's pissed again and to do something about it I'd say not nuts enough. This is getting even worse than the Emery/Trestman fiasco.

It really does not look good for him. He was supposed to come in and clean out the locker room with the prima donnas that think they come first before the team. Seems like he cleared them out for drug pushers. Horrible feeling this is, very bitter. How the fack do you look forward to next season when the team seems to not care much about this year. Wow

It's not so much that Bob as it is Fox's long time rep for running things in a far too laid back and careless manner. Call it benign neglect or whatever you like but it followed him here from Denver. I need to post the article that says we should have hired Gase to begin with. This is just one comedy of errors following another comedy of errors and what I'm bitter about is my expectation that the McCaskeys will let it all slide and use some lame ass excuse for keeping things status quo.
Wow. Now our best defense man. If we can't cheat right, we need to b e men about it and admit it. Send an email to Belichick and Brady. See if they are interested in running a seminar for us. We need expert help. Fox is just spinning in circles.
