Fox was also an older version of himself who had hearth surgery. He most likely tune himself down after that. Harbaugh took a Kaepernick to the Super Bowl not a Peyton Manning.
Harbaugh stated multiple times in the past that his best times were in Chicago. Heck he was even at the Cubs WS. He loves Chicago.
Buy out his contract from Michigan and give him control of this team.
Harbaugh went to Michigan and turn that black hole around fast. This team has talent but we don't have good coaching to help lead them.
Oh yeah, the Bears are gonna lay out the cash to buy out a $9 mil a year deal with 5 years left to run that also includes $2 mil a year in other spiffs AND then turn around and pay $10 mil a year to a HC who was just about to lose his NFL HC job because he was at odds with his GM and the team owners.
Sounds like just the kind of guy the Bears would hire. Stop posting nonsense or stop posting.
Don't forget they'd have to cotninue to pay Fox, and I believe they might just now be finishing up paying Trestman.

Well they were getting an offset for Trestman........were.
Ya gotta wonder at what point having a guy like Teddy Bear running this team like it's a Three Stooges comedy costing them money with hiring mistake after hiring mistake after hiring mistake is finally gonna dawn on someone where there problems really lie.

That "thump" you just heard was poor old Virginia going down with "the big one" at the very thought of that (and the rumble was the Old Man himself turning in his grave)...
The " What IF Game", Fox is let o, and Fangio leaves too, The new DC wants to run a 4-3. The wasted years. Who in their right mind would want to be the OC of the Bears? The " give Fangio the 2 years left from Fox , HC. Anyone remember how Lovie was always at 2 years or less left when he needed an OC
It's not gonna happen. Now repeat after me....."it's not gonna happen", "it's not gonna happen", "it's not gonna happen". Harbaugh is sitting on a golden throne coaching his alma mater and he ain't goin' nowhere so don't even THINK about getting on that kick.
Their paychecks have nothing to do with mediocrity. The Bears pay coaches as well as anyone does. They just don't hire the right ones is all.
Hiring a coach is definitely an imperfect art. No one is guaranteed to work. I don't know who I actually think could fix us other than Harbaugh. He is the closest thing to a sure best, but yet still not a for sure thing. No one is. After him, all are a bigger risk. Not to say the perfect coach is not out there, but I can't point to one and say that "this guy is going to fix us" for sure.

I don't follow CFB much but there has to be some OC minded, innovative coach that would jump at the chance for the NFL with Fangio as HC. I feel we would need a vet HC if we had a rookie OC. It could be worse and it has in fact been worse. Haha

But that was exactly Trestman. An innovative offensive minded coach. His problem was his philosophy of discipline. Just doesn't work here. But I certainly have no problems with a guy from Canadian football. A good guy can be found anywhere. Just because the last guy we found there was a disaster does not mean they all will be.

Maybe Pace has more luck to find a offensiv minded HC than Emery has had.
Harbaugh is #1 on my list but I don't see him leaving. Simple as that. Other than that I wouldn't mind a McDaniels or Haley or Kyle. I think they deserve a second go round.
