I know of a great coach who had great success turning a franchise around fast.
Jim Harbaugh
Let's get a guy who has some emotions on this team. A guy who is a proven winner when in the NFL. If you guys read my other thread talking about why this team has been a failure, you know its because we don't have coaches like him.
Not gonna happen Monsters. For one I think Harbaugh has proven his emotions and methods are eventually less effective at the NFL level than they are in college. And number two he's the highest paid coach in college football making more than Nick Saban and more than twice what the Bears have ever paid a HC.
He's never gonna coach the Bears......ever.
You get what you pay for. You pay for mediocre coaches you get that. We already have experience with that the past decades...
If McCaskey really wants to bring the Bears back to their ourselves we need a guy like Harbaugh here.
Harbaugh turn the 49ers around in year 1. In 3 years he went to 3 NFC Championships and 1 Super Bowl and was a play away of winning.
Sadly I don't think he will but I wish he does. We need a guy like him here.
You get what you pay for huh? 2 HC's that took the Bears to the SB were not high paid well proven HC's. Fox was, how'd that work?
Explain what Harbaugh gets out of leaving Michigan and coming to the black hole that is Chicago football right now?
Fox was also an older version of himself who had hearth surgery. He most likely tune himself down after that. Harbaugh took a Kaepernick to the Super Bowl not a Peyton Manning.
Harbaugh stated multiple times in the past that his best times were in Chicago. Heck he was even at the Cubs WS. He loves Chicago.
Buy out his contract from Michigan and give him control of this team.
Harbaugh went to Michigan and turn that black hole around fast. This team has talent but we don't have good coaching to help lead them.

It's not gonna happen. Now repeat after me....."it's not gonna happen", "it's not gonna happen", "it's not gonna happen". Harbaugh is sitting on a golden throne coaching his alma mater and he ain't goin' nowhere so don't even THINK about getting on that kick.
Their paychecks have nothing to do with mediocrity. The Bears pay coaches as well as anyone does. They just don't hire the right ones is all.

Oh yeah, the Bears are gonna lay out the cash to buy out a $9 mil a year deal with 5 years left to run that also includes $2 mil a year in other spiffs AND then turn around and pay $10 mil a year to a HC who was just about to lose his NFL HC job because he was at odds with his GM and the team owners.
Sounds like just the kind of guy the Bears would hire. Stop posting nonsense or stop posting.
