You're only focusing on one area of a tight ends job. The other is to block, and Miller is not close to Bennett in that regard.

Ric a receiver can't directly control how many times he's thrown to.  At best he has little control over that so this isn't like comparing how many rushing attemps one back has vs another.  Then I might agree with you since running plays have far less variety than pass routes or how any pass catcher is used in any given offense.

The receiver also has little control over a pass where he may be targeted but the pass isn't considered catchable.  Both have a catch rate of over 70% so lets go by that.  Marty's catch rate is 6% higher.  On 49 targets that 3 more passes caught over 10 games based on catches vs targets than Miller.  So I have no idea where in the hell you come up with all of these disparities.  They don't really exist except in your head.

Their yardage and TDs through ten games are roughly equal and Miller as 47 catches without a single drop vs Marty's 39 with one drop.  Even if we remove Brady from the equation as being a much better passer than either Cutler or Hoyer AND his playing in a far better offense the facts and the stats say they're about equal as receiving TEs.

So IMHO Marty isn't a FAR better TE and if he's any better at anything it would be blocking not receiving.  AND in this case he's no longer a Bear so it's all a moot point.  I think we'd have a much better offense with Adam Gase here too but he isn't either so what do I care about how Marty B is doing?  He doesn't play for the Bears anymore and the guy who does (or in this case did 'til yesterday) was just as effective for US if not more so.

PS; If you can actually show me where I ever posted that Cutler was elite I'll buy dinner at the best steakhouse in town because it never happened.  That is only true in your imagination.  I've posted that he was above average in some respects many times or that he has elite arm strength (both true IMHO) but never once have I ever claimed he was an elite QB overall.  If that's what you believe I've been telling you for over 6 years then we've been debating over nothing.  You have to stop putting your own twists and interpretations on my posts and you do do that at times you know.
