I believe both Fox and Cutler are just mailing it in at this point. Both don't really care anymore imo.
This is crazy thinking on my part, and a conspiracy theory to the max. But here goes. What if Cutler is wanting to just retire at this point to raise his young family - and figured he could take Fox out by tanking games like last Sunday? Fox left him hanging when Hoyer was the darling... when Fox wouldn't commit to Jay getting his job back after he healed from the thumb injury. If the team looks as bad as last Sunday, for the rest of the season Fox is a dead man walking.
LOL, I know that's a tin foil hat conspiracy thing. But I gotta admit it crossed my mind today.

This mike freeman dude seems to have a big hard on for cutler lately. I am not sure if he has some new source or what but seems like he is trying to make a name for himself

And I no longer care if they no longer care. We are one of the worst teams in the NFL right now heading for our 3rd straight last place finish in the division. There's nothing either of them can do at this point to salvage the season or their future here IMO.
Drain the swamp this winter and bring in new blood.

Then why not just tank the Minny game and take the team into the bye with a loss as opposed to an upward note? IMHO Fox has already burned his bridges with Cutler and if Fox is retained Cutler will ask to be traded or released. That's my prediction FWIW.
It's entirely possible the team is splitting into two factions. Those who support Cutler and those who support Fox. The true team leader and captains have made their position very clear as far as who they support. They've defended Cutler at every turn. The rest? Who knows but Cutler isn't the type who'd tank a game period. That's not him.
I'm still looking for reasons why his physical and mental functions take such a dip some games. I would still swear there's a physiological reason for it that may be related to his diabetic condition or some other unknown. There's almost a pattern to it and anytime you see that you should start looking for illnesses that have a cyclical nature to them and their symptoms. After all this time the repetitive nature of Good Jay vs Bad Jay can't be a simple coincidence or lack of talent. There has to be another reason.

There's a new one around every corner. I've never seen so may idiots and sociopaths in my life as I've seen those addicted to their social media accounts. Some of the shit I see is downright dangerous because some of these people are like lunatics and social media is their weapon of choice.
I think most the time you are going to have coaches and teammates defend the guy on their team lol but i wouldn't be shocked if a leaked comment came from someone...i mean, have we all forgotten the Kromer incident already?

+1 The one thing I do know, is that being a Bears fan is dangerous to our mental health. Regarding the Vikings win, I think the conspiracy required Jay to look great in that game to get our Fox-hopes up. Jay knew it would get our hopes up, and then Cutty could dash them again - It was a diabolical move by Jay to extract maximum shock when the final 7 games are played. He figured that would do old Foxy in for sure.
This was also an ancient prophecy (I think) from old cave etchings found just a few miles west of Chicago. Here's a pic:
The guy with the bow is definitely Jay aiming a poisoned arrow at Fox (you can tell it is Jay from the body-language). The two guys sitting in the foreground are a prophecy of players using Twitter to reveal this conspiracy to the world. On a side-note, please note how long the arms are of the other "players" in the cave etching -- it is clearly a prophecy to Ryan Pace to only draft players with long arms. The "Ancient Ones" knew that the only metric that mattered in future drafts by the Chicago Bears would be the arm length metric.

LOLOL
I would still maintain that it's not like Cutler at all to tank a game. He plays to win and hold himself responsible to his teammates which is why the better player like Long, AJ, Hicks, Miller and other experienced vets who've been around do back him and trust him.
I can't speak for the others because if they do have an issue the ONLY place you read about it is coming from speculation by some who the **** is this type or the media guys who need a crap stir in order to attract attention to themselves too. That's all it is.
Whatever Jay's relationship is with Fox is what it is. He's dealt with so many HCs and OCs in his career so far I just don't see him getting all that emotional over any of it. He's far more pragmatic now which is how I see it. It's more like "if you don't want me here then either trade me or release me, or if you do than just let me do my job".
I don't think there's any more to it than that. If he ends up elsewhere so be it and his attitude will remain the same. IMHO that's how you keep your composure and your focus when everyone else isn't.
