"Had Cutler not completed a 50-yard Hail Mary touchdown to end the first half, his passer rating would have been 35.4.
“You know there’s going to be situations where the outcome isn’t what you want,” Hicks said. “But we’re still behind him. I know I’m still behind him personally. And I know our defense is cheering our offense on and wanting the best for our team.”
Asked about Cutler’s preparation, his coach said “he practiced just like all the other guys” on the Bears."
Hicks defended Cutler. He says the defense is still cheering on the offense. LOL.
And John Fox defended Cutler saying he did practice like the other guys. That's good to know :-)
If I actually used social media I could post a story a day about Cutler one saying he's done with the Bears if Fox stays and the next day saying he and Kristin had the Fox's over for dinner. I would be shocked if their weren't those who were frustrated after THAT game but most need to be looking at their own games not others.
The best thing to do is just tune the stuff out. In January we'll know what Fox's status is and in early February we may have an indication of Cutler's because if they decide to shop him that's when it'll start. Until then who cares. He's gonna play because he's the only QB we have.
I think most the time you are going to have coaches and teammates defend the guy on their team lol but i wouldn't be shocked if a leaked comment came from someone...i mean, have we all forgotten the Kromer incident already?
