Denial is the last outpost of the doomed. Do something different and sack the GM and coach mid season. At least it's not predictable it's progress.
It's hard to watch this team play after all these years of Pace and Nagy - and objectively "see" much good there. This is what Pace has built in 7 years here. That's a long time. Nagy has had years to build his "Offense Guru" offense here. But Nagy's offense is worse than what we had under Lovie Smith (yes, that bad). We used to rationalize that it's okay because "at least we're not the Browns" but they just beat the snot out of us today. Men against boys stuff.
So. How long should Pace and Nagy get before we get a GM and HC who can actually, you know, build a championship team here? How long?
It's not good to have to hire a new GM and HC. But sometimes you have to admit you have a problem before you can heal and begin to get better.
Objectively watching the team perform, does anyone still believe Pace/Nagy can get it done here? If you do... then what evidence is there that they can? I just don't see it. I don't.

So funny regarding Lovie and how the Bears got here because his offense was never good enough. The Nagy experiment needs to go the way of the Tressman experiment - for the sake of Justin Fields!
