There is just one thing I don't really like. It's not easy to get the O to top10 league wide while having a top10 D. If you can't do it in a 2 year span, the window will be gone unless you get a Tom Brady lucky pick.
Those D players will get paid and age.
Pace biggest mistake over his time here is throwing away too many picks in trades. This team lacks the young talent to overcome the bust picks - that every franchise will have.
While everyone was cheering the Mack trade, I warned of this exact thing. 1yr after picking your future qb, you trade away picks and a ton of cap space to get a OLB instead of surrounding your young qb w/OL and WR talent.
You cannot invest so heavily on the Def and expect Off excellence. You cannot constantly trade up for picks, even if they hit(and they didn't/don't) you need to trade back when that guy you wanted doesn't drop to you at times; garner picks. Picks have value, not just in player assets, but also trade assets to get the next guy you want; even if it's next year.
