He "has a knee"... he tweaked it Monday in practice. Whatever any of that means. He's probably in the ICU.
He missed a 3rd practice so it looks like he's out for at least this game with the Rams. I'm hoping for the best in this game on Sunday night, but this is a game that could be pretty bad for us. I just hope the OL puts in a surprisingly good performance and Dalton surprises us too... LOL, surprises us in a good way not an epic bad way. One other thing. Bears fans joke about Matt Stafford, but even on crap Detroit teams he has a winning record against us, 32 TDs and 5,440 yards passing. His last game against us in December, he lit us up for over 400 yards & 34 points. That was with a stinking bad Detroit team. Now that he is on a legit team he could really light us up on Sunday night. I hope our secondary shows up.
My gut feeling is that Stafford scores 30 or more points on us. I don't think this Bears offense (in this first game anyway) can keep pace with that.
Yep. I'll put it this way:
I expect Stafford will dice up the Bears suspect secondary for 350+ yards, aided by the likelihood that the Bears offense will probably struggle to sustain drives and give Rams a big TOP advantage and shorter fields.
Only realistic hope I see to win is if Bears front-7 can get good pressure and force some picks. Gonna need at least +2 on takeaways to have a shot. Dallas was +3 yesterday and still lost.
I predict the Bears will not look as bad as the Packers today. They just started the 4th quarter with the score 31-3 and the Saints kicking ass on both sides of the ball. The whole division can start 0-1 now.

You got me there, David. No way the Bears could look that bad, right?
Holy smokes, I would have never guessed Packers would get trucked like that. Total beatdown.
