There’s a new quarterback in the Windy City. Welcome Justin Fields to the Chicago Bears with some brand new gear.
The Chicago Bears got their guy in the first round of the NFL Draft. Da Bears traded up to select Ohio State Buckeyes quarterback Justin Fields with the 11th overall selection.
Fans are – understandably – excited. Fields is the best quarterback on the roster today, and might just be the best signal caller in Chicago since ol’ Smokin’ Jay Cutler.
That’s high praise for a player who hasn’t taken a professional snap yet, sure. But Fields has been on the upper end of draft boards for months – and at one point was the consensus No. 2 QB in the class.
