Beat me to it. Was just gonna post the same poll.

It's really hard to say.

Dalton was guaranteed the starting job by Pace, which is the main reason he took the job. Handing it to Fields may be a little disrespectful and could lead to drama in the locker room, which is the last thing this team needs.

Then again, it's not like we got Mond, Trask or Mills. Fields is one of the best QB prospects of this year's class. If he had been a late first round pick like Jordan Love or a 2nd round pick like the other three I just mentioned, then sure, let him sit on the bench and learn the system for a year and roll the dice on Dalton.

But is it really unreasonable to expect the 11th pick overall to be a day one starter? I'd say no.

IMO Fields is too talented to waste an entire year on the sideline, but I also don't wanna see him get hurt behind that OL that is far from being fixed.

I think I'll be able to give you an answer once the draft is over. It really depends on what positions we're gonna draft today and tomorrow, and how good the OL will look on paper post draft.

I agree. Regarding the "drama" I meant more like drama between Dalton and Fields because Pace gave Andy his word that the job was his.

I guess the best way to find out is to just let them both battle it out in TC and PS and may the best QB win.

I don't think it's fair to compare Glennon to Dalton.

Glennon's team: John Fox, Dowell Loggains
Kevin White, Cameron Meredith, Victor Cruz, Markus Wheaton, Kendall Wright, Josh Bellamy

Zach Miller, Dion Sims

Jordan Howard, Jeremy Langford, Tarik Cohen

Dalton's team: Matt Nagy, Bill Lazor

Fields would be the better option but I rather the offense gel in first.

Hopefully we pick up an OT in the 2nd and a wr in the 3rd.

I want this offense to be as close to KC as possible in terms of talent. This should allow the QB to max his ceiling.

Not to go off-topic, but if we're able to get a legit OT in the 2nd, we definitely need to get some defensive guys in the 3rd and 4th.

We cannot afford to go all in on O when there are so many question marks on D.
