No way is Houston moving Watson no matter how pissy he is. His dead cap is 67mil, the trading team would have to, if even allowed, send a shit ton of cash to help offset that, or help eat it; and the Bears are in no position to do that.
His actual cap hit is affordable, but the Bears cannot afford the picks to do it, and Houston cannot afford the dead cap.
Besides Houston is going to want a 1st that gives them a top 10, if not top 5 pick, not a top 20.

While I might agree Rick, Gruden said they didn't want to trade Mack but he forced their hand. Anyway you are right, we don't have the draft capital to pull it off. See new tweet above by Albright, F that.

Biggest difference between mack and watson is that mack was about to be an fa and the raiders couldnt afford to pay him.
Watson is already locked up for a few years, Hou has complete control, watson can sit and lose out on 15mil a year totaling 40mil, ie he is going to play and deal with it.
Ya like I originally said, no way are they trading him, handful of picks and a player? Even hou knows he isnt worth that.
2 1st round picks 2 or 3 round pick Mack ( 30 in 2021 )
It hurts losing 1st round picks but if you get a top 10 QB that is just entering his prime and has 12+ years in the NFL. You pull it.
No the conversation starts at:
3 1sts
3 2nds
AND a player.
They aren't dropping two picks for an over rated OLB who's sack #'s have dropped the last 2 years and has a contract that requires he be far better then he is. Not to mention they aren't wanting 3 mid to late rd firsts so they can sit and watch all the best qb prospects get drafted before they get a shot at them. It would be 3 firsts from a team like the Jets or the Jags, one of the constant bad teams.
And that is where it starts, they would likely expect more b/c the entire point is they are NOT trading Watson. He has 0 pull or say b/c he's under contract for the next 2 years.
