My biggest worry isn't so much the Packers but the obvious bias the NFL has for them.
Remember this was called offsides:
I just saw this on the Saints forum and thought of you motm:
"The Bears ALWAYS complain about the refs. Imo it's a coping mechanism in regards to dealing with their inadequacies as a team. Every single time we beat them. It's the refs fault. Never because the better team won. To quote Shannon Sharpe: "Repetitions of a lie, doesn't make it true." Have we got some breaks? Absolutely. I'll be the first to admit that, but then again just about every team has gotten lucky breaks you guys included. Let's be fair. To blame the refs for every time a team is defeated by a particular team is asinine."
This season it seems like I've seen more bad calls than ever before. It's not one team, or even one team in a given game. It's just a level below what we usually see in a typical season. There's always going to be blown calls. Refs are human and will make mistakes. But this season it seems to be worse than usual. Where it especially frustrates me (not just with Bears games but any NFL game I'm watching) is when it impacts the game itself. I don't think it's anything sinister or trying to throw a game. It's just bad officiating. A separate issue is when a pro athlete gets the benefit of the doubt on calls due to them being superstars. That happens in pro sports. It's not going to change I think. It's just the way it is.
Packers lose their LT, the Bears lose their 2nd and 3rd DB's, but they do get Hicks for this game. Overall that is a net loss for Chi. If Pagano doesn't try and dial up and abuse the Packers LT on just about every down Rogers is going to just abuse the backup DB's. Pagano will need to have Fuller just follow Adams around b/c they have 0 people that can guard him outside of Fuller. If Rogers sees some bench warmer on his #1 WR he's not even going to need 2.5 seconds to get the ball to Adams for a big positive win for GB.

Yeah, I can see that.... They used to call that the Michael Jordan rule (not sure if you guys hated it then:).... But I also think this: The bad calls that go against the good teams are forgotten because they are good enough to make their own momentum.... Whereas a team that either isn't as talented or isn't coached as well can't overcome a call where something is missed or miss called...

I'm guessing our LG will slide over to LT and we'll get a bench guy in to play LG... There may be two positions you can try to abuse...
My heart wants the Bears to win of course but my head says they won't. I don't think a defense with a banged-up secondary is gonna contain Rodgers enough to make victory possible.

+1
At least it will be a good test instrument to grade out where the Bears are at as they go into the off-season.

It’s finally game day and I can’t wait. Everything is on the line this game. This could well be the end of an era. We may not see some of our favourite players like in a Bears uniform again.
The task seems impossible. But maybe they can find a way to keep the season going. I can’t wait to find out!
