Why don't the Bears even target him anymore? Was his snap count only 25% today? Are we really going to play now without throwing to slot receiver? If that's the plan, why not just line up with two TE (Graham and Kmet) and pound it with Monty, or throw short passes to them over the middle? Basically, I just don't understand what's going on with Miller in the last 5 games where he has VERY little production. Your thoughts?
Okay, but if the Bears have Miller on the field and only targeting him 2 or 3 times per game, we are playing only 10 guys on offense! How is that a good idea? What I can say is that I have seen Miller wide open but Trubisky not looking his way, because Mitch is focused like a laser beam on Robinson. I think a QB like Drew Brees would be distributing the passes to all receivers, including Miller. I would like to see Miller included more in the game plan as we get into the playoffs. The good defenses will have enough sense to double-up on ARob, and so we need to have all hands on deck.

1. I'm not sure you've noticed our offensive production the past 4 games...I don't think now is the time to be bitching about offensive production. The Bears legit haven't had a streak of offensive output like this in 50 years.
2. If Miller is on the field, we're not playing with only 10 guys on offense...we're playing with 11. Just because he doesn't get targets doesn't mean he doesn't count as an offensive player. Thats like saying we're only playing with 6 offensive players because lineman don't run routes.
3. I think if it's required for Miller to get more targets, he will. It's not right now, so he isn't. Again...a Bears offense hasn't done what this one has done the last 4 games since 1965.
4. Miller needs to EARN his targets. A-Rob has earned having Trubs laser targeted on him. Mooney has EARNED his increased play time and targets, same with Kmet. Miller needs to EARN it.
5. Just because I've never seen it in my lifetime...again...its been over 50 years since a Bears offense has done what this offense has done the past 4 games...FIFTY PLUS YEARS!!!!!

I understand what you're saying, but similar to what butkus said, he might not have earned the trust of Mitch. ARob had been irritated about his usage and Lazor has done an admirable job at getting him more involved, as he should being our number 1 WR and far and away the best offensive weapon. Is Mitch hyper-focused? Maybe, but it's working. You don't adjust away from things that are working.

======== Okay, I understand all that, but I am not ready to drink the kool-aid until the Bears score 30 on the Packers Sunday. Those 4 games were against the worst ranked defenses in the NFL. Jags -31 Texans -26 Vikes - 28 Lions -32 I think the Packers will be prepared to cover A-Rob over and under a lot in this game, and if Trubisky tries to force passes to him anyway, we are going to see interceptions. Incorporating Miller into the offensive game plan adds an element of surprise. He can't EARN much if they don't call his number and throw him the ball. I am not saying target him a lot, just enough to balance the attack. I hope I am wrong in my predictions on this game. We can compare notes here again on Sunday night.
“That was Miller’s second game-winning touchdown in the last three weeks, as he had the game-winner against the Detroit Lions in what was the team’s first fourth-quarter comeback.”
We would not even be in contention for the playoffs without Miller’s game winning catches against Lions and Falcons. And he had another potential game-winner where he was open on a long pass at the goal line, and Trubisky overthrew him by inches. Anybody recall that game?
======== Edit: Apologies to Mitch. The other game-winning overthrow to Miller was from Foles at the end of the Vikings game...
"And on 4th-and-9 with 2:10 left in the game, Foles overthrew Miller on what could have been the game-winning touchdown."
